Civil Engineer (team leader): should be a graduate of civil engineering with a minimum of 7- year experience in supervising large construction projects for a consultant office. He should be aware of all the required codes, specifications, procedure of inspection, safety and quality control for all civil works related to construction. He should also be able to check all structural calculations and provide appropriate recommendations for building stability. He should have adequate knowledge about all building services’ structural requirements. He should be able to understand and implement all the requirements of an academic and parking facility. He should also be familiar with surveying and AutoCAD software. He should be able to review the shop drawings and give necessary recommendations. He should be able to quantify the works done by the contractor and prepare variation or change order accordingly.
