History
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event ‘Invitational Series.’ 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game’s first Team franchises, captained by some of golf’s most decorated superstars.
The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.
The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.
In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game’s first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective:
The Ticket Operations Manager will provide essential support for ticket operations running the back-end operations, managing communications, and building strong effective processes to support revenue growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ticketing operational preparation for onsite scanning/entry between 3rd party primary ticketing provider and internal events team.
- Set up products and manifest in primary ticket platform to ensure accurate inventory management and a seamless efficient purchase flow for customers.
- Manage ticketing inquiries and requests, providing timely and efficient fulfillment, responses or solutions.
- Providing opportunities for maximizing ticket sales through ticketing operations, focusing on continual business improvement.
- Help develop the process for request, approval, distribution and guest experience for LIV Golf internal ticketing needs, which includes prospective clients, VIPs and community groups.
- Work closely with the marketing team on promotional campaigns to drive awareness and attendance at LIV Golf events.
- Work directly with EMC and Event Delivery team to deliver efficient and smooth onsite ticket operations setup, ensuring guests receive a best-in-class service.
- Working daily in primary ticketing platform along with any 3rd party ticket channel solutions.
- Heavily assist in building out events for timely and accurate event on-sales: manifest, pricing and testing.
- Process of internal sales and complimentary tickets.
- Assisting with ticket reporting processes.
- Uncover and propose new ticket operations platforms improving customer experience, revenue or processes.
- Travel to events, as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience within sports, golf or live event industry a must.
- Expertise (over 5 years) in primary ticketing platform. Variety of experience ideal.
- Experience in delivering onsite ticket operations for large scale events and supporting ticket commercialization.
- Experience working global events a plus.
- Background working with 3rd party ticketing platforms.

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Google programs required.

The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $85,000.00-$100,000.00 USD.
