The Business Intelligence internship opportunity is focused on a project providing hands-on experience with TaylorMade Golf’s BI tools and content with a focus on the expansion of TaylorMade’s data assets. You will collect information on and document data feeds, reports and dashboards to be used in TaylorMade Golf’s Analytics Content Catalog. This project will serve as a foundation for growing our Analytics Content Catalog which will provide visibility and access to data sets for BI users throughout the organization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Participate in daily scrums with the BI team.
Initial training of company and BI environment overview will be provided by the BI Team.
Follow prescribed methods of investigation and documentation of TMG BI assets.
Assist in the development and maintenance of scripts or tools for automated data extraction
Documentation on the data feeds, reports and dashboards researched.
Make recommendations for process improvements.
Knowledge Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks
Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf strongly preferred
Experience with BI Tools preferred
Knowledge of data scraping and data wrangling techniques
Passion for exploring new technologies
Undergraduate, completed junior or senior year of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
Pay Rate: $20/hour
