The IT Test Manager will be supporting the American Golf IT and Business Teams to test new software developments and implement business change initiatives. The IT Test Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the test strategy in collaboration with internal teams and external development partners.
The IT Test Manager will be responsible for developing testing standards, testing processes, implementing governance, leading a cross-functional team and be able to manage both internal and external partners to deliver the desired outcomes.
The projects vary across e-commerce, how we work with our stores and logistics, and supporting our digital transformation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Testing Programme to undertake end-to-end testing of new software developments including regression testing of legacy platforms.
- Definition and documentation of the test approach, test strategy, user acceptance test scripts and the test entry and exit criteria.
- Create and manage the defect Log.
- Manage and oversee the performance testing, regression testing and other types of testing (i.e. smoke testing, penetration testing, integration testing) as appropriate in collaboration with both internal and external teams.
- Chair the daily test meetings and manage defect resolution.
- Report the test entry & exit criteria
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordination with teams across the business

- Proven experience as a QA Testing Manager or a similar role, with a focus on maturing the testing function
- Extensive and proven Agile experience
- Must have led testing experience in complex systems including both manual and automated
- Expertise across functional, system, integration, and end to end testing
- Expertise across functional, system, integration, and end to end testing
- Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies, tools and frameworks, including experience with test automation tools
- Demonstrable experience in implementing and driving the adoption of automated testing practices.
- A solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with managing and collaborating with on and offshore third-party vendors, including communication and quality control
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams
- Certified with relevant Testing accreditations

- OMS / WMS / POS – advantageous
