Responsibilities
Ensure practice area, golfs carts, bag drop and valet are ready for players daily
Outside Service duties include staging golf carts, maintaining the bag room & cart barn, attending the bag drop, maintaining the practice range. Ensuring all areas are ready for members and guests at all times.
Work a multitude of areas including starter, ranger and golf shop.
Cleans golfers’ clubs upon completion of play or practice.
Receives and communicates golfer complaints to Golf Operations Manager
Ensure the clubhouse and surrounding areas are kept orderly and clean, including comfort stations
Be able to update tee sheet throughout the day using Club Essentials
Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager that may include caddying
Maintain a professional appearance and be on time
Education and Experience Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience at a Private Golf Club
In the PGA program or desire to be is a plus
Must have strong customer/guest orientation
Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
Must have strong interaction skills
Must be accountable
Working Conditions
Frequently stands, walks and runs
Regularly lifts up to 25-40 pounds
works in outdoor weather conditions
WAGES & BENEFITS
Hourly pay-based on qualifications and experience plus bi-weekly gratuities
