(Archived) Golf Teaching Professional

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced PGA Qualified Teaching Professional who has a passion for teaching the fantastic game of golf. This role within a world renowned resort will be focussed on delivering coaching to a high quality to develop the skills of the customer in the art of golf with an emphasis on coaching Juniors.

You will design, plan and deliver a series of linked coaching sessions that take into account the motivators and drivers of each individual learner. You will use trackman and evaluation tools to track progress and selling techniques for the guest to continue to develop their game.

Building strong relationships is a must within this position to ensure that guests are comfortable with their progress and able to take direction from you as their coach.

Your new department

You will work within the PGA National Golf Academy that is located within our driving range and custom fit area. Reporting directly to the Head Professional, you will work together to ensure that you are driving the coaching function to hit sales and KPI’s that have been set by the Director of Golf.

Duties of your new position …

You will own responsibility for Organising, promoting and delivering effective coaching and custom fit sessions for existing and new customers as well as Resort activities with a real focus on Juniors. Deliver golf events to promote the function to the surrounding areas and internally, drive sales through custom fit, group or individual sessions. To use all opportunities to implement new technology to the coaching function, to proactively build a client base.

Qualifications:-

- PGA Qualified
- Experience within a coaching role would be essential

Working Hours & Holiday Entitlement

40 Hour contract with a generous salary and commission, you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 that will be assigned to you by the Head Professional

Holiday Entitlement – 28 Days holiday increasing to 31 after 2 calendar years and 33 after 5 calendar years
