Job Description

As our CRM Assistant, you will support the planning, execution of CRM campaigns and implement test and learn plans for optimising campaign performance and improving customer KPIs. The role will initially focus on email communications; briefing, campaign setup, audience selection, proofing and campaign performance. The CRM Assistant will also support the Senior CRM Executive in the development of automated lifecycle email marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt best practice techniques to brief, build, proof, test, QA and schedule campaigns within the email platform at pace and to a high standard across devices.
  • Deliver best-in-class CRM campaigns that support the online trading and retail marketing teams, improving key customer metrics and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the online trade, buying and merchandising teams to ensure the relevant product is being promoted and showcased in the best possible way.
  • Co-ordinate with the marketing, design and social content teams to ensure all communications are on-brand, accurate, relevant and timely.
  • Use segmentation techniques to select audiences to target & personalise emails to the right customers.
  • Champion and implement a CRM A/B testing/optimisation programme.
  • Analyse results from email marketing campaigns to improve key performance metrics (deliverability, open rate, click-through rate, sales).
  • Support the implementation of any new automated email programmes.
  • Identify & suggest new ways to present marketing assets and content and to keep up to date with the latest email best practices and technology.
  • Open to support the expansion into optimising new channels, e.g. CRM ads, app push messaging, SMS
  • Development and management of a CRM Campaign Calendar

About you

  • Capability to analyse customer and campaign data, making recommendations to improve future KPI’s, conversion and revenue.
  • Demonstrable customer-centric thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active and a quick learner
  • Strong planning & organisational skills, with an ability to stay calm under pressure to ensure no deadlines are missed.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A willingness to learn
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and to take individual initiative.
  • Knowledge of and an interest in golf/sport is desirable but not essential.
  • Educated to Degree level, preferably in a marketing/digital-related discipline.
