Job Description

At Cawder Golf Club, we pride ourselves on offering our members and visitors the finest golf experience and hospitality in the West of Scotland

Our 36-hole facility is home to well over 1000 members and we are seeking to add to our and dedicated kitchen team.

  • Sous chef:

The right candidate will have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic, able to cover the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and understand stock control and ordering procedures.

You’ll be responsible for the supervision, preparation, and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained in keeping with the Cawder’s high standards. You will also be required to ensure that strict hygiene regulations are adhered to.

Although, we are very busy and deliver many functions across the year, we can offer a better work life balance than most equivalent roles in a traditional restaurant kitchen environment.

The hours of work, contract and salary/hourly rate are negotiable, but it would be expected that the successful candidate would average 40-35 hours per week across 5 days form 7.
