An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Greenkeeper.

Turfgrass Agronomy & Services is looking to recruit an assistant greenkeeper for a 9-hole newly built golf course located in Potters Bar. He or she will see the course growing.

The Role

We are recruiting an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team. Applicants should be qualified to level 2 in greenkeeping/sportsturf . The candidate should have strong team orientation skills, work ethic and good communication skills. Additionally, they should be responsible and have a passion for presenting surfaces of the highest quality.

The Individual

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including further training and will report directly to the Course Manager and his Deputy.

What we are looking for:

• NVQ Level 2
• Pa1, Pa2 and Pa6
• Can-do attitude
• Knowledge of golf
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
• Ability to produce and maintain high standards of work
• Team player
• Driving Licence

The company has a modern fleet of maintenance equipment and is continually investing in equipment and the course.

The position

The position is full-time 45 hours per week from April to October and 35 hours per week November to March, with required weekend work on a rota basis.
