Kinston Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Assistant General Manager!&nbspThe Assistant General Manager will report directly to the General Manager, and help administer all aspects of the operation. The Assistant General Manager will coordinate/administer the property&rsquos policies and procedures as defined by the property&rsquos ownership and/or Troon.&nbsp

  • 3-5 years&nbspexperience&nbspin&nbspthe&nbspgolf&nbspand/or food &amp beverage industry&nbsp&nbsp
  • Four‐year&nbspcollege&nbspdegree&nbsppreferred
  • Must&nbsphave&nbspsupervisory&nbspand&nbspstaff&nbspdevelopment&nbspexperience
  • Must&nbspbe&nbspproficient&nbspin&nbspExcel,&nbspAccess,&nbspWord,&nbspPOS&nbspsystems&nbsp&nbsp
  • Working&nbspknowledge&nbspof&nbspclub&nbspaccounting&nbsp&nbsp
  • Must&nbsphave&nbspa&nbspstrong&nbspbusiness&nbspaptitude
  • Experience with marketing

  • Produce&nbspdaily&nbspreports&nbsprelated&nbspto&nbsprounds,&nbspsales,&nbspetc.&nbspfor&nbspmanagement
  • Assist&nbspin&nbspcoordinating&nbspof&nbspbanquets and weddings OR golf outings
  • Provides&nbspcustomer&nbspservice&nbspto&nbsparriving&nbspguests
  • Assists&nbspin&nbspreconciliation&nbspof&nbspcash&nbspand&nbspaccounts&nbspreceivable&nbspcharges&nbspto&nbspdaily&nbspregister&nbspat&nbspthe&nbspclosing&nbspof&nbspthe&nbspday

  • Institute and implement all Troon Human Resources guidelines
  • Coordination between all departments
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues
  • Perform&nbspother&nbspduties&nbspas&nbspassigned by supervisor or manager
