Job Description

TaylorMade Golf is a global leader in the golf industry, and we are now seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to join our high performing and ambitious team to work alongside our sales, product and operations teams and enable the business to achieve sales targets and continued success.


Reporting to the Supply and Demand Planning Manager, the focus of the role will be golf equipment where responsibilities will include: managing demand consolidation, monitoring forecasts, purchasing, inbound logistics processes, inbound supply and inventory management.



A snapshot of the day-to-day role:


  • Plan and purchase according to demand forecasts and market demand.
  • Support in the creation of demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation and multiple time horizons.
  • Actively work with Product Management and Planning/Sourcing teams to achieve best availability results, resolve supply issues and communicate delays back to the business.
  • Maintain and update business planning documents and report KPI metrics as required.
  • Execute and track purchase orders/requisitions until arrival at destination.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor inbound supply, working closely with the warehouse teams.
  • Manage and maintain sample requirements for relevant product line.
  • Monitor the orderbook and work with all stakeholders to convert into cash.
  • Proactively work with the sales teams to keep the shippable orderbook clean and monitor through the product life cycle.
  • Update and maintain item attributes including, but not limited to start ship dates, product holds and lead times.
  • Provide support to and work closely with other EMEAP Regions and ensure on-time purchasing, delivery and supply is met.
  • Reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and track new product launches ensuring “flawless” launch.
  • Identify slow moving products and initiate and co-ordinate stock clearance programs with Product Management for aged and closeout stock.


What we are seeking…


  • Knowledge of golf equipment and passion for the game.
  • Proven track record of success working in a similar role with experience of forecasting, purchasing and sourcing.
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics and order management.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge. Experience of working with Oracle advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Unparalleled organization skills with the ability to conduct several, high priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills. Target and deadline orientated.
  • Able to work independently and proactively to anticipate and identify potential issues.
