Job Description

Position Summary:

The eCommerce Merchandiser will support the day-to-day merchandising operations & enhancements to maximise sales and visitor conversion across TaylorMade’s ecommerce sites. Coordination to include managing the merchandising of products and content to meet promotional goals, site/system testing for new enhancements and quality control to ensure the sites live up to world-class standards.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and implement site merchandising strategies & product upload activities for the websites
  • Coordinate with global design, product marketing, and other internal resources to collect assets required for product launches & web content
  • Validating site updates before go-live, to ensure correct linking and messaging are displayed vs plan
  • Manage product & content tracking documents and following up on any delays or missing information to ensure timely launches
  • Proactively develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the global merchandising & development teams
  • Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence and consistency across all sites
  • Support with continual review of customer experience, highlighting improvement opportunities across all aspects of the user journey and user experience
  • Implemented best practices in testing to ensure defect free releases on enhancements
  • Expertise in test management and defect management using management tools
  • Support with daily and weekly reporting against site metrics and key KPIS
  • Ensure a clear and consistent flow of communication

Miscellaneous duties

  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required
  • Supports development and execution of TaylorMade’s marketing strategy to drive profitability, maximize new customer acquisition efforts, strengthen overall retention rates, increase operating efficiencies, and favorably impact customers' lifetime value by providing input on all aspects of online advertising, content site management, online communication, and promotional activities for all business ventures

Education, Training and Work Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, IT or related field required
  • Knowledge of direct marketing and online merchandising
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced organisation
  • Must have excellent communications skills, presentation, and project & time management skills

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Knowledge of eCommerce and eMarketing technologies, software, and tools.
  • Experience using order management & other eComm/Testing systems - Oracle ERP, Jira, Demandware (SalesForce)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, web browsers such as Internet Explorer, and FTP software.
