ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our Groundskeepers drive an amazing Guest experience in the venue as they deliver an over-the-top golf experience by keeping the driving range, greens, and grounds perfectly manicured creating unexpected memories. Knowledge of lawncare, equipment operation, ability to move quickly, attention to detail regarding upkeep of the facility, and communication with Members of management, and Team Members imperative to success in this position.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping the golf course manicured and upkept. This includes, mowing and trimming,

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of mowing and golf equipment
• Provide over-the-top cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds
• Positively connect with Managers, Team Members, and Guests
• Demonstrate the core values of Always Bring the Fun, Be Bold Everyday, Live & Breathe Gratitude, Serve Our Community, Keep the Grit, and Include Everyone
• Maintain operating standards, including safety and maintenance of equipment
• Support the Golf Pro when needed

RELATIONSHIPS

The Groundskeeper will work under the Superintendent. There is a need for excellent communication and the continued maintenance of relationships with all Managers, Team Members, and Guests.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience with landscaping or golf course maintenance a plus but not a requirement
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management, organization, and follow-through
• Self-motivated with high self-awareness and integrity
• Ability to multi-task
• Openly receives feedback and coaching, and reacts accordingly
• Availability to work varied shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Ability to carry 50 for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment for long periods of time
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, including up and down stairs
• Ability to obtain required local, state, and federal licenses and/or certificates for your business location

COMPENSATION

Mystic Dunes Golf Club will provide the following:

• Salary Base: $14.00/hr. (based on experience)
