The Niblick Brasserie Opens at The R&A World Golf Museum

The R&A World Golf Museum’s cafe has undergone an extensive renovation, transforming it into an unforgettable dining experience for visitors.

The Niblick Brasserie officially opened its doors on 21tst April. The restaurant presents spectacular scenes of West Sands beach and glorious views of the St Andrews’ iconic courses.

Angela Howe, Director of the R&A World Golf Museum, said: “We believe that The Niblick perfectly demonstrates the ambitions we have to build on the food and beverage experience previously offered by the café.  It provides an exceptionally flexible space that will cater for a diverse range of customers, from families looking for a spot of lunch to guests at bespoke evening dining events.  The facility will also be bookable by groups and parties visiting the museum, including those from schools in the surrounding area.”

Customer will be able to enjoy the experience of dining surrounded by some of the most fantastic artefacts from the World of Golf Museum with glass cases sited throughout the restaurant, each with their own piece of treasured golfing history.

The kitchen will be overseen by Head Chef Brian Ferguson, an amazingly skilled and experienced chef that has held several senior positions in establishments right across the UK. Brian has created wonderful dishes using the finest local and seasonal ingredients around.

Brian explained: “I feel enormously fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of the team tasked with launching this fabulous new restaurant in St Andrews.  It is totally unique and offers golfers and non-golfers alike with a truly memorable experience.”
